I can’t believe how terrible it must be over in haiti right now. I want to do a fundraiser at my school to help. Can anyone think of an idea for a fundraiser? The Canadian government promises to match anything any school in Canada can raise for Haiti (we raise 1000 we are really raising 2000 ect.)

In the next week or so you can create a fundraiser page on charitoogle.com … we have some tips for how to promote the page for free and earn income for your group / idea
Check out “Pennies for Peace”, founded by Greg Mortenson. Schoolchildren have raised millions for aid to Pakistan, just by donating a penny or two each. It doesn’t seem like much to them, but it’s huge to Pakistanis. It will make children feel proud of themselves, too, and for good reason.
Something similar to that would probably work. Most of us don’t value our pennies much.
